Food trucks at weddings: everything to know

A food truck at a wedding sounds simple until someone asks where it parks. We run trucks at a lot of weddings, and the questions are always the same ones.

Space and power

A truck needs a flat, firm spot about the size of two parked cars, with a clear route in for a van. Ours carry their own power and water, so you do not need a hookup, but tell your venue early so nobody blocks the gate.

Timing the line

One truck can serve around 120 guests an hour. For bigger weddings we bring two, or open the hatch in waves so the line never gets long. A short line is fine. Guests like it. It is where half the good conversations happen.

When it works best

  • As the late-night snack, when the dance floor is full.

  • For relaxed weddings where people mingle rather than sit.

  • Alongside a sit-down dinner, as a surprise after dessert.
